Purpose & Commitment:

At Ellipsis of Happiness Foundation, we value and respect the financial contributions made by our supporters in India. We are dedicated to ensuring that all domestic donations are used effectively to promote happiness and well-being across communities. While donations are generally non-refundable, we recognize the importance of transparency and fairness, and we have established this policy to manage refunds under specific circumstances.

Eligibility for Refunds:

• Donation Errors: If an error occurs during the domestic donation process, such as double payments or incorrect amounts, we will consider refund requests made within 7 days of the transaction. Requests should be submitted in writing, including proof of the deduction, to our official address or email.
• Event Cancellations: Refunds for event registrations will only be issued in the event of a cancellation.

Conditions for Refunds:

• Tax Exemption Certificates: If a tax exemption certificate has already been issued, we regret that we cannot process a refund. If a refund is approved, the original donation receipt must be returned.
• Transaction Costs: If a refund is granted, any transaction fees incurred may be deducted from the refund amount unless the error was made by Ellipsis of Happiness Foundation.

Refund Process: Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment. For example, if a donation was made via credit card, the refund will be credited back to the same card.

Responsibility & Communication: All requests will be reviewed carefully by our team. We aim to maintain a trusting relationship with our donors by ensuring all donation processes are secure and transparent. Our team is committed to communicating respectfully and professionally with donors and resolving any issues related to refunds.
